You really can’t beat a nice jacket spud with cheese and beans when it comes to a main meal, or even as a snack. As someone who likes to eat a lot of foods rich in potassium, this really is the ideal food for me. There are high levels of potassium in all three of the ingredients, and that means I can eat them to my hears content as I am only doing this for nutritional purposes. The riches source of potassium in this delightful meal though is the jacket potato and this will generally have nearly a thousand milligrams of potassium in a medium sized one that weighs around about seven ounces. If I am feeling really hungry I will have two jacket potatoes, with even more of the toppings on them, and this is more than enough to get the recommended daily amount of potassium for someone of my age and gender.
If you ask me if it is really even that important to have my emergency food supply ready and well stocked at all times, then my answer would be “yes.”
